Today was a planting day. The local women were here and we did a ritual for new beginnings and Earth Day. We blessed wildflower seeds and milkweed seedlings. After ritual we went outside and planted them. Later in the evening my husband planted the two Live Oak trees and Lantana we bought earlier in the week. Later I realized that today was Niflheim – a day for generating. I think I honored this today by planting and generating new life into the seeds and seedlings.
