Niflheim (Day of Generating)
Today when I reached into the bag of runes. I knew I was going to pull Nauthiz (needfire, survival) and I did. The family came over for a swim and a cook out. It was fun to play with the girls.

Vanaheim (Day of Nurturing)
I pulled a rune this morning and it was Inguz (fertility, gestation). This is an appropriate rune to pull on the Day of Nurturing. I taught all day today and it was enjoyable. Two women drove over an hour to take this class with me. I was very surprised. My husband lost his glasses.

Asgard (Day of Understanding)
I had appointments scheduled with two different doctors today. That meant a lot of time in the car. Today I pulled Pertho reversed (disappointment, unknown outcomes. I wasn’t sure of this rune in its reversed state so I looked it up at Runecast.com. This is what the website says about it in the reversed position.
Pertho takes on a dismal tone in its reversed state and usually reveals a time of frustration. Instead of pouring forth fate in a forward manner, it pours it out the back end. In a sense, Pertho reversed opens the door to your attic, where debris of the past is stored. Clearly, expectations should be low when this rune appears. Attempt to stay in the present and relinquish unrealistic outcomes. Doing so ensures that further disappointment won’t describe your future.
What I found interesting is that I received an email from the University of Florida regarding my application. This rune is reminding me to stick with my new realistic goals and not to dwell in the past. Also today being the Day of Understanding, it is important for me to understand the right choice and goal for myself.
