Today was the women’s gathering. We started out working on our bead projects. Everyone made something different and appropriate. I used gold and amber colored beads on a piece of leather. It went well with the brown broomstick skirt I wore for the ritual. I cut the bottom of my shirt and alternated long tan beads and round red and orange beads. I had one brown wooden long bead on each shoulder.
The rune I pulled today was Othala. For me, this rune means ancestry and also sacred vows or commitments. I thought this was appropriate since we spent the day bonding with the other women and the goddess.
