Today we honored the holly with the beginning of the Celtic Tree Month of Tinne. The holly represents protection. It was a laid back day, recovering from yesterday.
We had another cookout (ribs, hotdogs, sauerkraut, corn on the cob, baked beans). Tonight when it just started to get dark I went out and caught a glimpse of the moon (it was just a sliver but still so beautiful). Later on a neighbor had a huge firework display. They started at 9pm and continued until after 10:15pm. Some of the fireworks were quite spectacular. We watched the latest Poirot movie (Halloween Party). It was very good but the scenery and location were eerie which was perfect for Halloween.
Today my rune is Perthro (divination, mystery, unknown). I am heading into uncharted waters and need to take precautions.
